Hello Mr. and Mrs. 007

“Who even are we??” is what we both would say all day on my 28th birthday and our honeymoon this August. We are kinda unpredictable in the best way. We could either be on a couch eating a pizza in our PJs or we could be dressed to the nines in Monaco at an Alain Ducasse Michelin 3-star restaurant. Either way, we thrive in all environments and we love them all! You may recognize this casino mainly from the 1995 James Bond movie, GoldenEye.

Le Louis XV Experience

My husband treated me to a fabulous 3 hour dinner at Le Louis XV in Monte-Carlo right next to the casino. I will show an entire photo diary below of the meal experience of champagne, course on course on course, the cheese, the desserts, it was all spectacular. For a couple of foodies, this was an experience we never will forget. I am getting excited to one day visit the new Alain Ducasse restaurant in Versailles. The food was spectacular, one-of-a-kind and local. The service was just as top notch as you would expect. Eating all that food in a dress like mine was no easy feat. I couldn’t even finish my cheese and to this day, I am sad about it.

What about the Casino?

We did not go into the casino, but admired it from the outside. Just note that you’ll need photo identification to enter the casino and everyone has to be over the age of 18. Admission cost is €10 per person. Do not forget to bring your passport, or a copy, if you are driving from Italy or France! The rest of this blog will be more of a photo diary of how the rest of the night went! I was surprised with more dessert and champagne (the best things in my book, after my favorite thing which is my husband). Our spectacular hotel was Chateau Eza and I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Nothing was imperfect at this hotel and I will show you more about Chateau Eza soon. Being glamorous in Monte Carlo was a bucket list item that I hope everyone experiences at least once!
