There are not enough resources online for couples to feel comfortable planning a destination wedding by themselves! And many couples, us included, do not want to hire a wedding planner. We only wanted to hire a day of coordinator (handling table décor, flowers, schedule, etc.), which I definitely recommend.
This platform will be a source of comprehensive guides for couples to learn from what we have learned during the process of planning a destination wedding without EVER visiting the venue or meeting the vendors in person until the DAY OF! Even though our wedding was in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic (which still rages on), eventually one day it will pass. But the future of weddings, and how we plan them, will change forever. We never thought that a world-wide pandemic would affect our wedding, until it did! Everything we have learned from this will be a part of all future event planning, in every contract and contingency plan.
